My name is Rachel Ryan, originally from County Limerick, Ireland. I run walking-focussed ten-day trips in the West of Ireland and now also in my home region of Nelson: top of the South Island of New Zealand.

Many people come to Nelson and decide to return and live here. There is good reason for this: Nelson oozes character, has the highest sunshine hours in NZ and a spectacular array of unique wilderness areas to explore.
