My name is Rachel Ryan, originally from County Limerick, Ireland. I run walking-focussed ten-day trips in both the West and South West of Ireland and now also in my home region of Nelson: top of the South Island of New Zealand.
I am passionate about the landscape, the natural heritage, the life style and the peoples of New Zealand/Aotearoa. I have had great pleasure in designing and organising this in-depth, integrated exploration of the Nelson region including the Marlborough Sounds, Delaware Bay, the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks and Golden Bay.
It has always been my greatest pleasure sharing the treasures of these places with visiting friends and relations from Ireland and other parts of the world.
I look forward to showing true Kiwi hospitality to many more people wishing to delve deeper into the local character of this patch of ‘paradise down-under'.
